HAND-STITCHED LEATHER WRAPPED HANDRAIL

Here we worked with a firm vegetable tanned leather. Normally the leather is prepared in the shop, but this railing had many tight and different radius’ which was a big challenge that it took more templating and molding of the leather to complete the work. The hand-stitching is hidden underneath. This type of application can be an athletic challenge over several days of installation! With the left over leather we made drawer fronts and handles.
